Samsung fights Galaxy Nexus ban in US

Samsung got a shocker last week when the District Court in United States granted a preliminary injunction against the Galaxy Nexus. Now Samsung has filed a notice with the court asking to put a stay at the injunction. Samsung requests either to put a stay on the duration of the appeal or till the Federal Circuit (where Samsung has filed the motion) decides on a particular tenure.

Samsung argues Court's conclusion of Apple suffering an “irreparable harm” was “based on legally insufficient evidence.” Moreover, Samsung also challenges the Court's order to be “inconsistent with the Federal Circuit's directive that market share losses must be substantial” and even asks the appeals court to give a narrow scope of the infringed patent.
