Samsung Galaxy Note Edge now available from Vodafone UK

Last week, it was announced that the Galaxy Note Edge would go up for sale in the UK from December 12. Well, that day has finally arrived, as the curved device is now available in the country from Vodafone. As revealed earlier, the phone is available for £795 when bought SIM-free, or at plans starting at £49 for those ready to enter a contract. That's a rather high price, but again, for a device that features a unique display like the Galaxy Note Edge's, you can't really expect the price tag to be cheap.

Other than its 5.6-inch Edge display and a smaller (3,000mAh) battery, the Note Edge features mostly the same specs as the Galaxy Note 4. These include a QHD display resolution, Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, heart rate and fingerprint sensors, a 3.7-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
