Galaxy A55 users, there’s some good news for you. Samsung has released the second beta version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the phone.

Currently, the brand is rolling it out in India. The update that brings it is 484.24MB in size and carries firmware version A556EXXUEZZDC (via Samsung Community).

The second One UI 8.5 beta build for the Galaxy A55 brings five changes. You can check out the official changelog below.

  • Fixed an issue that Bluetooth Autoscan did not work when entering Bluetooth
  • Improved the Sluggish/Delay when lowering the Quick Panel
  • Fixed the issue that the FUN mode lens and preview screen do not match
  • Fixed an issue where the name change was not saved after editing the name of a newly created filter in Macro > Filter
  • Fixed an issue where the filter menu was briefly activated when switching to the rear 50MP camera with the front filter set.

To get the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Needless to say, it is available only for those Galaxy A55 units that have been enrolled in the One UI 8.5 beta program.

If you haven't registered your device for it, you can do so by opening the Samsung Members app, finding the banner for the beta program of the new software for your phone, and tapping on it.
