Display comparison between the Galaxy S IV, Galaxy S III & XPERIA Z
The famous Chinese poster posted this time some screen comparison between the Galaxy S III, Xperia Z and the Galaxy S IV. As you may notice below the Galaxy S IV’s screen is just perfect! The new display hints on PHOLED instead of AMOLED!
Like we said before we can´t wait to hold the new Galaxy S IV in our hands. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S IV tonight in New York City!
The Galaxy S IV is rumoured to have a 4,99´´ PHOLED display, Octa-Core processor,
2 GB of RAM, 13 megapixel camera, Android 4.2 and Samsung own Touch Wiz UX.

It definatley is Pentile as far as I can see but it could be a way we haven’t seen it from Samsung before. It appears as if red and blue subpixels were bigger to eventually compensate for the lower total amount in comparison to green.

yeah, I have to agree. If you count pixels it clear goes rgbg. I just counted the green ones as sets though. I could be wrong though.

The XZ’s screen damn washed out and colorless.
It is useless. HTC One’s screen is much better.
But AMOLED cannot be compared to LCD! It rocks!

This is VERY. BAD. NEWS.
Xperia Z has mediocre display, to put it short.
Still counting that this is a prototype who has its own problems…
I don’t believe in inconsistent colors – black on the front, white on the back EVEN if it’s used in all of the “ads” – for me it simply means that there will be two versions: one BLACK and one WHITE. That’s it.
Next is the speed of the device, the quality of floating touch and some other details.
In other words – HOLD YOUR HORSES.
