Is this the new Galaxy Player???
SamMobile has received this friday a tip about the new upcoming Media player by Samsung.
As you can see the looks are round just like the Galaxy S III.
The new High-end media player runs on Android 4.0.4 and uses the new Touch Wiz of Samsung.
The Samsung YP-GP1 use a huge big 5.8” qHD display with a resolution of 540×960 TFT LCD.
Thanks to the 1GHZ dual-core processor the media device will be playing your media effortless.
Another great detail are the stereo speakers. Great sound for listening outdoors to your media player.
If you want to make nice pictures this is possible thanks to a 3.0 megapixel camera.
Samsung will introduce this new media player in 2 colors black and white.
We think that Samsung will show this Media player at IFA 2012 in Berlin.
Lets wait and see.
Special thanks to our insider who sended this to us.

@fizdog It’s only Galaxy Player, PLAYER, not smartphone or portable console!

It will be nice if they matched the Note’s 1280 x 800 screen. But this looks good if the price is reasonable.

fizdog: it is not all about the cores rlly… imo for the GS3 or the galaxy nexus the problem is the GPU/mem.
Iphone3 > iphone 3gs > GS1 > GS2 > Galaxy Nexus > HTC 1 X > GS3

Mkalter, I hope you’re right. Other sites say 5.8, but that’s too damn big for a media player. Why bother when the Galaxy Tab 7 is available?
