Samsung has announced that it will launch a new entry-level smartphone on February 9. The device, called the Galaxy F70e 5G, is a variant of the Galaxy A07 5G that launched in select markets last month. It features a large, high-refresh-rate display and a high-capacity battery.

The Galaxy F70e 5G sports a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes an 8MP front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a depth sensor. Samsung claims the phone can capture vibrant photos and sharp videos.

Although Samsung has not officially revealed the phone’s processor, recent leaks suggest it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to feature a microSD card slot for storage expansion and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

It will likely run Android 16-based One UI 8.0 out of the box and get up to six major Android OS updates. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery and supports up to 25W fast charging. It could be priced between INR 10,000 (~$108) and INR 15,000 (~$163).

Samsung says the Galaxy F70e 5G is designed “for young Gen Z users who create, share, and express themselves daily,” and claims it can last up to two days on a single charge. The phone will be available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue. It measures 8.2mm in thickness and is designed to offer a comfortable grip, thanks to its faux leather back panel.

Samsung is expected to reveal additional details about the Galaxy F70e 5G’s pricing and availability closer to the launch date.
