Even though Samsung has layered an extra dose of AI onto its new Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 phones, the core idea hasn’t really changed. These are still mid-range devices built around generous screens, and they remain better suited for multimedia and entertainment than for serious productivity.
Speaking of affordable entertainment, Samsung has partnered with WEBTOON to bring thousands of webcomics and stories directly to the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 at no upfront cost.
At least in France, the two new Galaxy A57 and A37 models ship with the WEBTOON app pre-installed, making the platform immediately accessible out of the box.
If you’re unfamiliar with it, WEBTOON is a South Korean-American platform (via Wikipedia) centered on vertically formatted comic strips, a style tailored specifically for smartphone screens.
The service was launched by Naver Corporation in 2004 and has since grown into one of the world’s largest digital storytelling platforms, boasting more than 160 million monthly active users.
The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, both equipped with 6.7-inch 120Hz displays, are naturally well-suited for this format. Their tall, smooth-scrolling panels make them ideal canvases for vertically designed comics. With thousands of original series spanning multiple genres, WEBTOON offers a wide enough catalog that most users will quickly find something that clicks.

It’s still unclear whether the WEBTOON app comes pre-installed on the Galaxy A37 and A57 in markets beyond France. Regardless, the app is widely available for download on Galaxy devices via Google Play and remains largely free to use.
More precisely, WEBTOON provides access to millions of episodes at no cost. However, it also gates certain completed series behind a Daily Pass system that uses virtual coins, which can be purchased with real money. Even so, the platform’s freemium model delivers plenty of content for users who prefer not to spend anything.
As for the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, they are set to go on sale in France, and in most global markets, starting April 10. In Europe, pricing begins at €529 for the A57 and €429 for the A37.
