Samsung recently introduced a significant redesign for the Samsung Food app on tablets and foldable phones. This update simplifies recipe editing and makes a premium feature free for everyone.
A new version (2.50.0) of the Samsung Food app has been released. It’s available on the Galaxy Store and the Play Store. It introduces a significant update to the Recipe Builder feature, including an auto-complete option for ingredients. This feature saves your time and makes the recipe-making process easier by automatically suggesting ingredient names as you type.
Samsung has also added a new step editor to edit cooking instructions. It now has a simpler UI, which makes instruction editing faster. The company has also fixed 11 bugs that were hampering the experience of using the app.
The Health Goals feature has now been made free for everyone. You can set your own calorie intake targets and then check them against your recipes to see if they can help you stay within your calorie intake limits.
Samsung acquired a recipes app called Whisk in 2019. Then, it renamed the app to Samsung Food in 2023. It is available for Android, iOS, and iPadOS devices. It is also available for Samsung's smart TVs and monitors and refrigerators with Family Hub+ and AI Home screens.
