No new Classic this year? Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is already cheaper

Samsung is expected to unveil a new Galaxy Watch lineup in a few weeks, but if the leaks are accurate, one fan-favorite model won't be making a comeback this year. There doesn't appear to be a new Classic model on the way.

This means the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic should remain Samsung's only smartwatch with a physical rotating bezel throughout 2026. Better yet, you can already buy it, and it's cheaper now thanks to a limited-time discount.

Samsung's online shop in the USA now lets you grab the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with an instant $80 discount if you select “No” in the trade-in section. If you do, the discount is applied automatically.

Alternatively, assuming you do have an eligible older device to exchange, choose “Yes” instead. Samsung says you can save up to $250 through its trade-in program, depending on the device you send back.

Samsung is also offering bundle savings alongside the smartwatch. Buy the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and you can get 10% off the Galaxy Buds 4 or Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, making it a good opportunity to upgrade more than one Galaxy device while the discounts are available.
