Earlier this month Samsung announced the GALAXY Note 3 at their Unpack Event in Berlin. Samsung was initially planning to launch the GALAXY Note 3 with 32 and 64GB of storage.

Today we received the information that Samsung will release a 16GB version in Hong Kong. Samsung will start selling the GALAXY Note 3 (Octa Core version and Snapdragon 800 version) in Hong Kong from the 25th of September. The 3G version which is the Octa Core (N9000) version will cost $5998 HKD and the LTE (4G)  Snapdragon 800 (N9005) version will cost $6198 HKD, these prices are from: Fortress (a major retailer of mobile phones and electronics in Hong Kong).

At the moment it’s unclear if Samsung will release in Hong Kong also the 32GB or 64GB version, but we expect that either one or both storage versions will come to Hong Kong later this year.

It’s crazy how Samsung fragments its products.

16GB? Don’t waste my time. I’ll wait for the 64GB but at the very minimum it should be at least 32GB.

As awesome as it will be to have 32gb and 64gb available, most people will opt for the 16gb if available sure to reduce costs. I will check out the price difference to decide. However, i believe the 32gb will launch first I’ll likely be getting that then. Im more confident that Samsung knows what will sell better than we do

If Samsung could cram the touchwiz ROM into less than 6GB, I’d imagine Samsung would have released the 8GB version as well as the 16GB to squeeze out any penny they could save.

These days Samsung is more concerned to earn a few extra pennies than to innovate.

I think Samsung really do not have respect for the people in HONG KONG, I’m pretty sure Hong Kong is one of the most popular city in the world for TOP END mobile phones, but always have the barebones specs.

They really need to give HONG KONG the same respects of other countries.

From what I heard, they have no plans for 32GB for Hong Kong Galaxy note 3. What a bummer for those people that loves high end specs.
