The rumor mills have had no dearth of news related to the upcoming smartwatch – expected to be named Galaxy Gear – by Samsung since the last few months, but it was only over the course of the last few days that we got a look at what could be the final design of the watch. Well, while we still don't know what the smartwatch will actually look like, British Voucher Codes Pro has taken all the leaks and patent filings and created a concept rendering to give us an inkling of how awesome Samsung's smartwatch could be.

The result is a watch that looks stunning, complete with a flexible display that was hinted at in the patent filings. If this is what Samsung's first attempt at a smartwatch could look like, well, I for one would go get one without giving it a second thought.

New Samsung patents rethink the smartwatch

Samsung has had a significant measure of success with the Gear S2 and now, the Gear S3, but the most recent quarter estimates for 2016 show that Samsung only sold 400,000 Gear S2 smartwatches. Of course, the Gear S3 sales figures are not yet in to determine just how successful the Korean giant may be […]

Samsung reacts to Apple Watch pre-order launch

Samsung’s been accused of studying Apple too closely. Even after the Korean manufacturer launched the Galaxy S3 and won Android consumers worldwide to the company’s popular smartphone, Samsung continued to examine Apple lines outside of Cupertino’s own stores on iPhone launch days to see what created the hype surrounding the fruit company. And Samsung took […]

Samsung working on a ‘perfect’ smartwatch, reveals Samsung EVP

Despite all the fanfare around the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge launch, what left many wanting was the fact that Samsung didn't launch a smartwatch at the MWC. If you, like me, had been wondering why that's the case, Samsung's EVP might have an answer. “We’ve been introducing more devices than anybody else,” adds Young-hee […]
