New press render of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge leaks in grey

A couple of live images of the Galaxy S7 duo were leaked yesterday showing the devices in black, which also highlighted the almost flush camera module on the device. Later, the Galaxy S7 edge’s 3,600 mAh battery was confirmed through an FCC filing. Now, a new press render of the yet unannounced Galaxy S7 edge has surfaced the Internet.

The seasoned leakster Evan Blass has tweeted the press render of the Galaxy S7 edge, which shows the device in grey color (though it could also be silver). The new image shows the device with the same wallpaper that leaked through our forums yesterday. The image also confirms February 21 as the official launch date of the device.

As of now, the device has been leaked in three colors; black, gold and silver/grey, but the final list of color options can only be confirmed after the official announcement of the device, which is bound to happen at Samsung’s Unpacked 2016 press conference just a day before MWC 2016.

Looks fat. Hope it will be the same girth as the S6 edge+ and not fatter.

With 3,600mAh battery and Android Marshmallow battery saving features, S7 Edge will have the best battery timing among all flagship devices Samsung released yet.

What do you expect guys? S7/S7 Edge is just a more polished version of the S6/S6 Edge.

e.g. S7 Edge is slightly thinner than last years model

I think it is a bit bigger to house the camera and larger battery.

True for those, but the bezels seems to be a few millimetres shorter than last years model.

Its very similar to S6 edge. The only change hardware difference.

If you look closely its slightly more thinner than the S6 & it seems to have a larger front-facing camera, maybe 8 mega pixel this time.

I will wait for the S8.Becouse the changes from S6 to S7 are not that much.I just hope that Samsung wont make the S8 bigger from the S7.I think that Samsung should keep the S line up to 5.1 inches max.

Looks much better than the ugly leak photo. None of the rubber edge between the metal and glass.

Looks like the s6 edge but still a handsome phone. Looks like they are doing away the 2 tone colours

S6 edge looks better. The shine it has just makes it look more premium than the S7 edge.

You do realize this is a computer RENDER, thus not a real image?

SenorSjon

Press photos and real photos are two different things.

Will it have USB-C? Will the IR-module make a return?

adrscu

As far as we know it will bring USB-C but no I.

If this is indeed the final version I can’t distinguish the difference between the s6 edge and this s7 edge they look exactly the same.

The home button is more rectangular, that’s the only noticeable difference, and they might have gone for more of a matte colour palette to distinguish them between last years S6

It’s already mentioned previously that there won’t be noticeable design changes. No offense just fyi.
