This is shaping up to be a great week to purchase the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge if you're based in the United States. T-Mobile is kicking off a new promotion through which it's providing a free memory upgrade to customers who purchase these handsets and now even Samsung has launched its “Ultimate Upgrade” promotion which will provide customers with a $100 rebate should they purchase a 64GB Galaxy S6 or S6 edge.

T-Mobile's promotion is obviously limited to customers who purchase the handsets on its network but that's not the case with Ultimate Upgrade, Samsung will give the rebate after customers have purchased the handset at a carrier or national retailer of their choice. The idea behind this promotion is to cover the difference between the 32GB and 64GB models of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge which it most certainly does, customers only have to purchase the 64GB model of either smartphone at full price to get $100 back from Samsung. Once the device has been purchased customers have to head over to this Samsung website to get the rebate. Samsung is running the Ultimate Upgrade promotion until July 5.
