Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 now available on AT&T for $149.99
The mantle of the largest smartphone on any U.S. carrier is now held by Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3, which is now available from AT&T. If you decide to enter a two-year relationship with this giant of a phone, it will cost you $149.99 upfront, while buying it unsubsized will set you back $479.99. Not a bad price, though you can forget about comfortable one-handed usage if decide to get one.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 features a 6.3-inch 720p (720×1280) SuperClear LCD panel with a pixel density of 233ppi and packs a dual-core Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz, Adreno 305 GPU, 1.5GB RAM, 8-megapixel main shooter capable of capturing videos in 1080p at 30fps, and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 offers WiFi 802.11ac support on top of the usual a/b/g/n, and an IR blaster is included for remote control access using Samsung’s WatchON service. NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE are included, and it’s got MHL 2.0 and is able to use a standard MHL connector. Android 4.2 takes care of the software side of things, underneath Samsung’s usual TouchWiz customization.
AT&T currently has only the blue version of the Galaxy Mega 6.3, and you should be able to grab one from their retail stores, or order it from their web store at the source link.
