The Galaxy S III mini runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and have a sharp 4” sAMOLED display.
The Galaxy S III uses a dual-core processor and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. The Galaxy S III mini is available in 2 colors white and blue. The price will be around the 350 – 450 euros.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S III mini begin last month. The Galaxy S III mini is specially for people who want to buy the Galaxy S III but is to big for them.
If this device is a bit to small for you wait for a month. The Galaxy Premier will hit the stores in December. This device has a 4.65” sAMOLED HD display.
The price of the Galaxy Premier will be of course a bit higher than the Galaxy S III mini

Seems like this phone is released to public to compete against Google Nexus 4 in terms of price range. S3 mini has the sleek design of S3, but the old specs of S2, so it may be hard for Samsung to win this battle imho.
