It looks like the Galaxy Note 4 may not be the only phablet that Samsung has in store for us. Results from the GFX benchmark website reveal several details about a Samsung SM-G739F which has a 5.5-inch display and mid-range specifications. Apart from the specifications in the benchmark not much is known about this device right now.

The SM-G739F appears to have a 5.5-inch display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. A 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with Adreno 305 GPU and 1.3GB of RAM forms the power package. The benchmark also shows 12GB of onboard storage, a 7 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front shooter with both capable of recording video at 1080×1920. The device may run Android 4.4.4 out of the box.

It is too soon to say when Samsung intends to launch this phablet and in what markets. Its a possibility that it might be limited to certain markets seeing as how its not a big ticket item like the Galaxy Note 4.

Pricing and availability information for the Samsung SM-G739F will come in due time, we’ll be sure to update you when we know.
