Samsung’s Galaxy S5 Experience app lets you try out the phone’s features

Having trouble deciding whether you want to put down your hard-earned cash for Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone or the company’s new wearables? Well, then the company wants to lend a hand making your decision easier, with the Galaxy S5 Experience app that has just been launched on Google Play. As the name suggests, the app will let you take a (semi) interactive look at some of the important features of the Galaxy S5, such as the Rich Tone HDR mode in the camera, Download Booster, or the new S Health app. The app also talks about other features, like the fingerprint scanner or the IP67 water and dust protection, though you can’t exactly experience most of those without the actual device in your hands.

The Gear 2 and Gear Fit parts of the app are currently under development, but they should be populated with interactive content through an update to the app. Galaxy S5 Experience is available for all Android devices running on Android 4.0 and above, so go ahead and give it a spin through the Google Play link below to see if you like what the fifth-generation Galaxy S has to offer.

Product Marketing CRAP is what this is. Try it? why, Samsung you cant even finish updating your Galaxy S3 or Note 3 updates for all that matter, why should anybody be in a hurry or even want to find out about your new Crap when you are not in the LEAST bit interested in updating your old Crap. Simple, Update your old crap and make it a priority, PRONTO. And yes, I am a Galaxy so called Fan Boy but soon to be in Exodust with many other Sammy users if you dont pull up those Korean Corporate Socks of yours, Get it????

Ha ha ha. Funny, we know samsung galaxy s5 will have most of the inbuild app features. But what about the hardwares, especially batteryn and its persisting issue “Over heating”. Why samsung is not at all speaking about this battery and overheating issues?

I also have decided to switch over to Sony Xperia Z2. Samsung is hibernating lately when it comes to release system updates.

The Galaxy S5 Experience app was a great idea. I liked it. However, I really hope they don’t use that lame green color for menu options like OK or Cancel. I hate it.

Its a good app that explains most of the features very well. I think for those who are on the fence about the S5 should check it out.
