Today we can confirm the next generation of the Galaxy X Cover. The Galaxy X Cover 2 GT-s7710! The next generation of the Samsung Galaxy X Cover uses a 4” TFT display with a WVGA resolution, 5 megapixel back camera, 0.3 megapixel front camera, 4 GB internal storage with Micro-SD slot up supported up to 32 GB. Samsung didn’t forget the ways to connect your device the Galaxy X Cover 2 will have USB 2.0, bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and A-GPS. The battery size and dimensions of the X Cover 2 are 1700 mAh and 130.5×67.7×11.9mm and the weight of the X Cover 2 is 148 gram. Samsung’s next generation of X Cover device is running Android Jelly Bean 4.1 or 4.2. Samsung want to introduce the X Cover 2 at MWC 2013 in Barcelona. The X Cover 2 will come in 2 colors Titan Gray and Black/Red.

Another useless phone and one more reason for bad software support for all… It seems each week Samsung is announcing next phone/tablet and next modification and so on. The only idea is selling more and more but final result we see now and in future software support will be even worst then now…

PS: because Sony did ‘Z’ – such kind of ‘Xcover’ does not have a future… If i would be Sammy – i would not release it. I would rather make S4 IP-certified (for dust & water).

If You want solid smartphone Sony Xperia Go and Z without shock resistance is useless. They are just water resistant and with good specs. No big deal.
Xcover is first of all tough smartphone. It was desing to be hard and waterproof not to be competition for Galaxy SIII of iphone 236,5
