Samsung to bring TIZEN OS devices this year

Samsung confirms it will bring TIZEN OS devices this year. The first rumors about TIZEN devices showed up early this week. Samsung and  local carrier NTT DoCoMo want to sell the first TIZEN devices. Samsung, the biggest Android player of the market, isn’t happy with Google since Motorola is in hands of Google. TIZEN OS is powered by Intel and Samsung. From what we’ve heard the project is quite a secret. But we can’t wait to see the first TIZEN devices by Samsung.

“TIZEN developer device (left) Nexus S (right)” – The right one is not Nexus S. It’s a Galaxy Nexus.

I read that tizen is for “web application” with html5. instead of a jvm wich run application, you’ll have a web browser which run a jvm which run your application. Why not ??

Under android, you have now access to precompiled code which will be compiled for your device to get a more performance ( quad core parallellism execution … )

I think another OS is not necessary.
Android is really good.
If Samsung will switch to tizen completely, i definetely buy an Nexus Device or HTC.

I also noticed the fact that maybe the images were taken at different times, or it is just the screen quality differences. So we have to wait for specifications of devices, etc.

The images are clearly of different quality. The one on the left is crisp and clear, that is if the images are natively captured by their respective devices.
