Samsung Galaxy S IV to use a Exynos 5450 processor

Follow: Phones

According to the latest rumours is Samsung going to use their new EXYNOS 5450 processor (codename Adonis) in their new upcoming Galaxy S IV.
Samsung’s current Galaxy S III is using the EXYNOS 4412 this is a quad/core processor based on 1.4 ghz Cortex – A9 architecture (which is quite fast already).

If this rumor is true  Samsung will blow everybody away!
The EXYNOS 5450 is a big beast in speed and is very efficient in power technologies.
Samsung firstly wanted to use the EXYNOS 5250 in their smartphones and tablets.
But since LG started to develop their own processor and marketing term quad-core is a hot item at the moment.  Looks like Samsung decided to use the EXYNOS 5450 in their Galaxy S IV.

EXYNOS 4412 1.4 – 1.6 ghz quad-core   Cortex – A9
EXYNOS 5250 1.7 ghz dual-core             Cortex – A15
EXYNOS 5450 2.0 ghz quad-core           Cortex – A15

Of course are this is just a rumor.

Samsung wants to bring the Galaxy S IV in the first half of 2013 to the market.
The Galaxy S IV would sport a 5″ Super AMOLED Full HD display!
Samsung is even deciding what kind of build they want to use for their new flagship device.
Since Samsung develop all  plastic by themselves. Younger Korean people started to blame Samsung about cheap build quality. Sadly in Korea the old man are the wise men… Lets wait and see.

Let’s have this straight, and plastic is a fantastic material its benefits and properties far exceed that of aluminium.. If Samsung choose to embrace the benefits of using plastic rather than trying to make it look like aluminium their phones would be even better.

I love my SGS3 but if it had an rubberised over moulded PC/ 10% Glass fibre rear cover it would not only look great but be amazingly strong, durable and make the device feel very solid.

The processor looks amazing, as does full HD and lets hope the 13mpx camera they were developing…but 5″?!!! Are we nuts? STOP incresing screen size.

    4.5-4.65″ is BIG ENOUGH! I don’t want a galaxy note, i want a galaxy S.

I’m not sure Sammy is reading/evaluating those comment but if they do,

    I wish they’d,
    * go with Exynos 5 family as cpu
    * larger, or at least a big as visible screen size while smaller or at least not bigger than s3 phone size, (I do not care much if its thicker without going too thick).
    * more juice/better battery life
    * leave the touchwiz fork go as close as stock android, (better for upgrades, better for uniformity)
    * AND very importantly go OPEN SOURCE/ release as much source as possible for the dev community.

Sadly they are “that” close to shying away, the dev community. BAD SAMSUNG VERY BAD!

I would HATE a larger screen, most users agree so please don’t make it bigger Samsung! If someone wants a larger screen, they can get the Galaxy Note!

    - 4.6″ is BETTER (without onscreen buttons, same as you’re doing it now), just make the screen non-pentile like the Galaxy Note 2 and it would be a great upgrade. We don’t want a 5″ FHD screen that will EAT battery life! Also, please make it true 60Hz at least, the more the better, and better sunlight visibility. Improving the accuracy of colors would also be nice (100% sRGB), or at least make it optional by improving the “Natural” setting in the displaly mode. You see, improving the screen isn’t only about resolution, PPI, and size!

    - If the Exynos 4 Quad isn’t big.LITTLE, please use the Exynos 5 Dual instead which is a VERY fast SoC. If it IS big.LITTLE then please use Mali T-624 for better efficiency. Also 2GB RAM is a MUST, and please make storage 32GB at LEAST with SD Card support (don’t cancel SD cards like other OEMs!).

Please use carbon fiber for the chassis, not plastic or metal. PLEASE!!!

You can keep the camera at 8MP. Just make big improvements in the sensor, image stabilization, low-light capability, and framerate (1080p 60FPS would be NICE). AND PLEASE include Xenon flash!!!

Make the overall footprint of the phone a bit smaller than the Galaxy S3, and we don’t mind if it’s a bit thicker with a larger battery (2500mah at LEAST). And please keep it removable.

Please improve software features and make them work flawlessly without any glitches. And since Mali T600 series supports Renderscript, please use Renderscript in lots of places of the Touchwiz UI, that would be AWESOME! Software feature upgrades are better than hardware upgrades ATM.

That would be a GREAT upgrade.

AGAIN, if someone wants a bigger screen, they can get the Note 2!!!!!!

P.S. I am sorry for copying your comment, however, it was dead on the money and feel was though it should be repeated and hopefully Samsung might take it into consideration.
