Samsung says Apple competes by abusing patent law

In an internal memo sent by Samsung to its employees, the company came strong on the jury verdict loss in the US court. Samsung says they offered Apple to settle amicably but it was Apple who wanted a lawsuit.

Samsung says to look at the fact that courts globally have ruled that Samsung did not copy Apple’s designs and recognized the standards patents, which the jury overthrew.

Samsung signed off the memo by saying that they choose to compete in the market with innovation, unlike Apple who’s competing by abusing the patent law.

I was saying from the beginning you have an American company in American court with American Judge and American Jury… no way they will REALLY ever listen to an non-American company’s case. Thus I’m not surprised. Just look how quickly they made up their minds also. Think its time Samsung also start to play dirty like Apple.

The new nature UI of the Galaxy S3 is splendid and the battery life on my Galaxy S3 is the BEST I have ever had from any android smartphone especially standby mode. I applaud Samsung for the forward progress they have made from the early days of the Galaxy S line. If your not rolling with the Galaxy line today meaning the Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy Nexus then your not rolling at all. And with the upcoming Galaxy Note 2 and upcoming Galaxy Nexus 2 the future is extremely bright regardless of the apple lawsuit with all the appeals Samsung has in place as well as the possibility of taking this case to the Supreme court which what I would do Samsung will be just fine…Bring on jellybean to my tmobile monster…

It’s hard to understand when patents are given for basic phone design, such as ” Square”, “Rounded Edges”, “Search functions”. If that’s the case then how will manufacturer’s such as Samsung will make cell phones? Does a simple court ruling dictates what type of cellphone consumers should buy? Totally unfair.

Maybe in the near future, we will see a smart phone with a complete round shape or even a triangle. Whoever got to that shape first will get its patent! lozzzzz. Anyway, I think Samsung won’t lose that 1 billion dollar for free! Samsung will definitely fight back and in a good manner too. Samsung will never play dirty like Apple! I want to eat apple now! not just a bite!

hello, samsung, you should not give up, I think it’s an injustice the judge’s decision, because it is like trying to monopolize the production of smartphones. are patent nonsense that the other company argues, can not be rounded up. these are mamadas. I do not know the law, but obviously the Americans will defend his company. not if an international court may be more equitable and consistent. Greetings to all the company, and are not compromised.
