5.5″ Galaxy Note 2 coming this October?

Follow: Phones

Ubuntulife made a mockup of what might be the new Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 2.

Not much is know about the Note 2 up to date, besides that it will feature a slightly larger display (5.5″) and a dual core Exynos 5250 processor.
It has been over a half year since the Galaxy Note was released. Over 7 million devices have been sold in this period.
We are pretty sure the Galaxy Note 2 will be inspired from the Galaxy S3 so it will look similar and feature the same technologies and services like S Beam, S Voice, NFC, SmartStay and others.

Other rumours according to them:

  • WSXGA+ (1680×1050) resolution and 360 pixel density, Super AMOLED (non-Plus) display from PenTile matrix.
  • 8-megapixel camera with improved lens and image sensor for better images and videos
  • RAM will be increased to 1.5 GB
  • 4G LTE connection
  • Exynos 5250 chipset, featuring a dual-core ARM-15 processor

I’m not even that bothered about extras. I just want Quard-core, 1.5+GHz RAM and HD display. Oh, and expandable memory; big SD cards can’t go to waste.

gionta man u just made my dream configuration for the Note 2! but i would just increase the battery to 5000mAh cause that would be fucking awesome! and the gpu should be Mali-T658! if this configuration becomes true for Note 2, Note would LITERALLY DOOM every smartphone!

ahahah look at the dream/wishlist. You can’t get that.
Beside it will only have Exynos 4Quad just like the S3 with the same resolution it has right now.
May be with bigger battery and S3 camera.

    My bet is:

    SAMOLED HD 1280×800
    1GB RAM
Exynos 4 Quad 1.5Ghz Clcock Speed
    1GB RAM
8Mp Camera with new sensor (S3 sensor)
    New S Pen
    Bigger battery
    Gorilla 2 glass
    New TW UX
    MicroSDXC support exFat
    S-Beam NFC
    ….etc

This is a more realistic spec :)

Why in the world does everybody want a Quad Core?
Exynos 5250 beats every Quad-Core on the market and is on the other hand even mor efficient.
Look at Qualcomm’s S4 Dual Core! Built in the HTC One S it outperforms the Quad Core from One X in almost every CPU benchmark.
Exynos 5250 is even more powerfull and also has a higher clock speed. I hope Samsung won’t bring the Quad Core trash into the next Note.
    They’re better than this.
