Galaxy S3 to have 5 capacitive buttons at the bottom.

Well here we go again another day another S3 rumor.

3 May London Samsung Electronics will release the next generation of the Galaxy S series and according to a Samsung Official a total of five capacitive buttons are expected to be mounted.

The Samsung Electronics official said, “Galaxy S3 will feature a dedicated button to  ’S cloud’ and one for  ’speech recognition’, etc. In addition to  its predecessor there are two additional buttons mounted,” he said.

According to the Samsung Employee the S3 will sport design features of the Galaxy Nexus. Other interesting facts are that the Galaxy S2 is  in thickness and weight, 8.9mm thick and 121 G the S3 will be much thinner and lighter, with 7mm thin and the weight is expected to shrink even more than 2 ~ 3g.

The Galaxy S3 will sport a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED  HD display and will sport the new 1.5 GHz quad-core processors ‘the Exynos 4412′, and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).

The Samsung employee says that the company had a huge debate whether to put Exynos 4412 (quad) or Exynos 5250 (dual) in the S3, because 5250 is superior, but in order to go with the advanced feel , they decided on the quad core proecssor.

What do you think about this will the device be truly smart?

Thank you H.J

If it had the Mali-604 wouldn’t be a problem but the Mali-400 is a no go specially with the higher resolution. iPhone will have better specs cpu and gpu wise. Exynos 5250 would be the better choice.

1: would liked slight fat than S2 if i get big big battery
2: go see the specs of the i9300 and see how that has yet the fastest benchmarks for any phone, infact it do well against the new ipad with same mali 400

They would have been stupid not to go with the 5250 if the could do so, I think there were some other issues involved like technical. This whole multi-core craziness is mostly because of lamers – the same who say 12 MP in a camera is better than 10MP. A good 2-core chip is more than enough for todays needs.

If they’ve a chance to put Exynos 5250 in Galaxy S3 they’ll use it whatever they have to do. I don’t think that Galaxy S3′ll come with 5 capacitive buttons, it’s bullsh*t…

5250 is more advanced. Duo cores do better with lesser battery and most apps are working better. Y not samaung learn from T3 & S4

7 mm, I don’t think so and if they do I’m switching brand. Quad core + HD screen and < 2000mAh battery is not even an option. Hardly manage a day with my SGS2 and the 2000 mAh.

    am Korean,
and according to the announcement, the battery performance will be improved 20%,
due to the certain new technology.
so, even considering the improved AP, the battery time will be enough.
