but it didnt say anything about my mobile firmware …
and when i use my mob from “software update ” it says error ;(

@kenorsom: Maybe they’re reporting no update because it is update for open-market phones with polish product code and not for the branded ones (which is I think the larger part of them in Poland). I think Samsung found it easier to test their official updates on relatively smaller markets. Or it was simply by mistake ?

@ferrarifj: bada-os.info is reporting that Kies is performing a backup of all the users’ data before os installation, and restoring it afterwards.

i can confirm that – i made an upgrade from 1.2 (S8500XXJID) to 2.0 (S8500XXKL6) few days ago. My wave has region code xeo; s8500 was previously branded (Orange) – since JID, not

Kies said yesterday, that i have the newest firmware for now.

As soon as the official release is available I wonder should I go back to an 1.2 and update via kies or flash it like I’ve been doing the last year and a half? Is there a difference?
I got so used to checking if there was a new release that I will probably keep checking. The first beta releases will be uploaded in the next few months based on a final 2.0 release. and i heard some rumors that samsung started developing bada 3.0 already, what’s up with that? Wil report back if there are any changes here in the Netherlands.
