Samsung is finally shipping curved OLED TV to US

기사사진8_1

Samsung is finally bringing 55′ curved OLED TV to US, after unveiling it back in January at Consumer Electronic Show. The TV will support multi-view (where two persons can watch two different 2D programs using 3D glasses) and it’s also compatible with the company’s Evolution Kit, ensuring that the TV is future-proof. It will be a 1920x1080p (Full HD) 3D capable RGB OLED TV. But it doesn’t come cheap at all, with a staggering price tag of US$ 15,000! The model that Samsung will be shipping this week is the Samsung KN55S9 and it will be available to selected dealers.

And now, how about telling us: what this has to do with the Samsung MOBILE part? ;) Also, ridiculous price, and just WTF is future-proof? Rather future-friendly ;) Same goes for “two people” instead of “two persons”.. (2 persons are acceptable in FORMAL speech, like in the court..). Basically, just a gimmick. Outrageously priced at that.
