First firmware of T-Mobile Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919) is now available

Samsung has just started to push Sprint Galaxy S4′s (SGH-M919) firmware to the KIES server. Today, we received a huge amount of GT-I9500 and GT-I9505 firmwares and we were wondering when we would see the first U.S. carrier branded firmwares of the Galaxy S4, and as we were wondering around T-Mobile Galaxy S4′s firmware hit the servers! The firmware is based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s Nature UX 2.0 running on top of it.

Firmware Details:
Android Version: 4.2.2 – Build JDQ39

T-Mobile Galaxy S4′s (SGH-M919) firmware is available for download from our Firmware Section. Now as the official firmware has been released, it’s going to rain custom ROMs and custom kernels for the T-Mobile Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919).

Hi there, I know it’s not recommendable, but can I install this M919 firmware to my Galaxy S4 I9500 (intl. version)? Have anyone tried it before? Can this firmware work with the I9500 version? If someone has info about what I’m thinking to do, please leave your comments and recommendations. I want this firmware in order to use WiFi Calling and other T-Mobile features. Thanks!

No, you can’t and shouldn’t install T-Mobile US firmware of i9500. T-Mobile is using Galaxy s4 with Qualcomm(i9505) processor, but i9500 has Samsung’s CPU. International i9505 should be compatible with T-Mobile US phone.
