LG post billboards above Samsung’s Galaxy S IV unpacked event

LG SAMSUNG

LG is making fun with Samsung by placing billboards above the billboards of Samsung for the Galaxy S IV On Times Square.  We have to say it is a bit funny! But really LG, why would you post a billboard above the Galaxy S IV Unpacked event? Can’t create your own marketing hype? Mission FAILED in our eyes and specially when you use the LG Optimus G… Samsung is expected to sell 50 million Galaxy S IV devices, and want to sell 10 million Galaxy S IV devices in the first month!

Samsung doesn’t have anything to worry about that’s for sure. In the android landscape LG is the BIGGEST JOKE their is besides Huawei. Samsung has the BEST software solutions and feature enhancements/implementations on handsets compared to any other manufacturer. The Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 were industry standards now the mark that other manufacturers use to make competition devices. Everyone is chasing behind Samsung and copying Samsung every chance they get. Great choice for them cause Samsung are the creators everyone else are pretenders.

First they copy galaxy note 2 design.. Even the exact screen size!
    with their optimus pro g..

That’s funny because all these phone manufacturer now copied the LG Prada which was released in early 2007.

And guess who came up with the photosphere panorama capture first? LG.

This is why Apple can’t sue LG for it’s use of the “Round corners”. Apple and Samsung basically bit off of LG.

It is not funny at all – it is a smart move as Samsung has spend a lot of money to have your eyes there why not to put their add there too :)

It’s alright. All fair in competitive environment. In any case just shows how worried every company is right now.

It’s funny in my opinion :) But it doesn’t change the fact, that the LG has terribly bad optimisation for their phones – usually, one update is all the receive – and thus I would rather buy a Nexus 4 if I would be aiming at this resolution/size/GPU/etc. But I’m not, though it’s a nice phone and it’s bound to receive better software support than from Samsung ;)

Biala , nice one. I gree that it is not funny when it comes to business. And those that are “pretend laughing”, should not pretend to hide your true feelings. Yeah, LG might not have the right machine but at least they are trying to capitalize by putting the advertisement where people will look most and eye catching, eventhough it does not make any sense. After all most advertisements are abstract, that is why they get the attention. Now, I think that is laughable.
