Apple wants to stop more GALAXY devices
More bad news for Samsung, Apple is trying to stop more Galaxy devices in the US.
They are trying to ban next devices:
- Galaxy S 4G
- Galaxy S2 (AT&T)
- Galaxy S2 (Skyrocket)
- Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
- Galaxy S2 Epic 4G
- Galaxy S Showcase
- Galaxy Prevail
It is not the first time that Apple is trying to stop Samsung products in America.
For us it looks more like Apple can’t handle their own market anymore.
Let’s hope Apple will fail in this process.
they’re scared cos more people preffer android devices due to more functionality

i think it was samsung being more foolish in this whole saga. Samsung being such a big corporate full of professionals should have known it was coming. And yet they pushed on with the thing. When the first galaxy devices came, it was pretty obvious to even a 3 year old kid that they were copying the concept.
Anyway i hope Samsung learns from its mistakes and comes up with something wonderful in future. And by that i mean anything other than Windows 8 phones. They look ugly.

I had post this in a braziliam blog, and i translate it to show my deception about this:
“I think my opinion may be quite near the fair, because I am a User macbook air, iphone 4s, galaxy s3 and time capsule … and I have a samsung tv also …
I honestly believe that with the victory of Apple, loser went on to consumers, including the fan boys. Who uses the android system, knows how much he gives us freedom of action in our gadgets, and how it is good to see android phones of all sizes, colors, brands and processors.
How good is also having an iphone, that did not lock, is elegant and is an inheritance of one of the greatest geniuses of this century technology.
But patent the elastic effect browsers, slide to unlock, rectangular device with square icons out there … and besides, will serve only to Apple’s pockets, for us mere mortals, maybe we will have to live with our gadgets android without nice things patented by Apple and maybe see fewer offers for new devices on the market, which has always been good for competition and for the prices. If it were not for the competition, even with the iPhone’d be full of limitations in that both irritated when was released.
Each one really has a different opinion, many of my completely disagree, but I think for we analyze this issue we can not think like religious fanatics, where any action from Apple is the most correct, any product is the most beautiful and modern . Amazing how a brand technology products can leave many people isometric struggles, the point of tattooing apples bites on their bodies, and quarrel with anyone who disagrees with some prophecy drawn by Steve Jobs.”

Apple should get a life and concentrate on creating something new which is useful in their iOS and give a new shape to the 4 year old iPhone…

how can you patent rectangular shape with rounded corners? Most maid things has that shape if i look around my living room!

This sums up everything. iPhone is failure in many markets where consumers are not swayed by the Apple hype and want real value for their money, which Samsung gives.
I will not be surprised if Apple tried to sue Samsung Galaxy S III and even sue the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note II and tried to sue the older devices in other countries (the suit they won), mainly in Europe and in China.

i think apple is trying to get all the money out of samsung as possible so it looks like those parts samsung gives them are for free

This conflict is more like soap opera, pursue nothing which it not a big prob. Apple is more likely got disease called patentphobia. Some of their patent doesn’t make sense, specially patent about the design, even 4 years old child know the different design of samsung and iphone. If there iphone design maniac, he/she will surely buy the iphone. But for me, I buy the nuts not because it’s skin, but what it’s inside that I can “eat”, so that’s why I choose S3.
I’ve use many kind mobile devices before (except Blackberry, I just hate it
). If I should rate it, personally, I will put iphone on last score before JAVA MDIP devices. I barely cant do anything with iphone, cant create app just for my self without being free (to many conditions to build apps on iOS).
And talk about apple patents, did anyone notice the feature on iOS 5. You can barely find it on Cydia market before iOS 5 ever launched. Now talk back, there always news that other device break Apple patent, but what about Apple break someone idea (even not patented). We never heard that news, only jailbreaked iphone will know that how many idea have been stolen by Apple when they release their new iOS, like silent sync, sync with wifi, curtain, visual effect that on iOS 5, that apps already exists on Cydia before Apple release iOS 5 (I know because I use some of it on my iPhone 3G before, and iPhone 3G cannot upgraded to iOS 5
). Same as icon arrangement on home screen, did anyone notice PALM arrange their icon, I never heard PALM pursue Apple for icon arrangement patent. Apple need to fix their attitude before they dig their own grave.

Honestly SAMSUNG has made a great deal of money of these devices since they have launched years ago. Apple pursuing bans ON THESE OLD DEVICES WILL MEAN WHAT??? People are moving on purchasing the fleet of new Samsung devices that are the hallmark of the manufacturerer. That’s the Galaxy Note, Galaxy s3, Galaxy Nexus, and Galaxy S2. With the upcoming GALAXY NOTE 2 and GALAXY NEXUS 2 ARRIVING within the next 72 days Samsung is and will be doing just fine. Apple can’t stop anything Samsung produces because everyone with half a brain already know’s Samsung runs rings around apple all night long….

lets say samsung copied the iphone, but that was iphone 3, and with galaxy s, they are allready backward, and how come a company banned 10 devices from other company to protect one device of its own, and now can anyone tell me what about the htc’s and motorola’s sony, and lg and more .. they have the same phone with same allmost design, and also why not apple go and ban their devices.
I beleive that one day the table will turned over apple.
