Latest software update for the Gear S2 brings Flight Mode

Samsung has released a new software update for the Gear S2 smartwatch today. Software version R732XXU2CPB7 brings several improvements to the smartwatch and also adds the Flight Mode feature. The mode works just like the way it does on your smartphone, kills all wireless connections with just one tap so there's no need to manually turn everything off.

This latest update for the Gear S2 also enhances the pre-loaded Digital watch face and it enables users to pick an image from the Gallery app on the smartwatch. A manual update feature for the News Briefing app has also been added. Once updated, the Gear S2 will adjust brightness automatically to avoid excessive glare in a dark environment. The update is rolling out now; get it by launching the Gear app on your handset and going to the Settings menu.
