Samsung debuts Galaxy S5 promo video and advert

Samsung unveiled its official Galaxy S5 and Gear 2 promo videos on YouTube today. The crux of the videos is that how the Galaxy S5 and Gear 2 can be used to enhance your everyday activities. The Galaxy S5 video details various facets of the device, starting with the new soft touch plastic material at the back. The video highlights the fact that the Galaxy S5 features slimmer bezels and a much better screen with Adaptive Display technology. The new 16 MP camera sensor is also detailed, along with the new shooting modes and the Selective Focus feature. The connectivity features of the device, which include a Wi-Fi MIMO modem along with LTE Cat. 4 are also touted.

A feature that was heavily demonstrated at Samsung’s official unveiling of the Galaxy S5 was the new fitness and health-related utilities that the device offers. The device comes with a new S Health utility that can track different kinds of activity, and can sync with the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and the Gear Fit wearable devices. Another new feature on the Galaxy S5, the finger scanner, is also demoed. The finger scanner lets you authenticate your digital purchases in addition to letting you unlock the device. In addition to the Galaxy S5 introduction video, Samsung has also uploaded the Galaxy S5 advert that debuted during yesterday’s Academy Awards. Find both videos below:
