did you mean 4.1.2 as the 4.1.1 don’t have dual screen etc???

yeah, androidboy74, you got that right. This is how Samsung feeds its dog – half a bone at a time! Do you mean dual screen or split desktop?

I figured, by 26th Nov Australia gets it first Jelly Bean on SIII and follow by Note II getting the left over updates of Jelly Bean (4.1.2). Then, if your Christmas is good this year, you might get 4.1.2 for SIII by beginning of Jan 2013. And I am not talking about SII updates yet – you need to pray very hard for that one. For crying out loud, look at the Tab updates for ICS????????!!

Ok. Samsung produce a lot of phones – they update their specs very quickly. This is because they have nothing else to bank on, not even softwares. So, they sell more phones. Yeah, they make more money selling phones than softwares or ads, as it was mentioned earlier in one of the posts where Samsung exceeds Google’s finance. Well, Apple sells IOS and some hardware. Samsung sells hardware only. But still, the softwares have to work well ( with new phones). Strangely, they have managed to come up with new phones packed with new hardware updates on that phone but failed to update the previous versions of their own flag ship. Is not that strange? This trend can only be going for sometimes, but not for long because consumers will catch up. This tug-of-war is very tiring for consumers, sooner or later it will take its toll.

hi, Please FIX BUG in Clipboard, cannot paste the text copied. =(

Bug fix clip board? I wonder why they call it update – suppose to fix bugs beforee it releases. Ok, it is time for another turn and burn. What an idiotiic, spastic Co. Maybe they are not pretending to be suck after all, because ther are.

Guys the bug free udates are coming in late March next year, don’t hold your breath. This company is retarded.
Yes don’t hold your breath! When Samsung finally releases 4.1 it will have issues or bugs anyway.
Remember that the recent ICS (4.0.4) contains the emmc brick bug!
Best to avoid Samsung altogether if you look forward to software updates. Otherwise get the Nexus range because even though they will have bugs there will be fast updates/patches.
At least Google recognizes software is an important part of a phone experience.
