Samsung to announce Galaxy Note 2 on August 29

Rumors were pretty strong but a Samsung spokesman has put the rumor to rest by confirming it to Reuters. Consumers can indeed expect to see the new Galaxy Note on August 29 at the Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin.

“We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29.”

So there you have it. The successor of the original phablet is just 26 days away from the official unveiling.

Rumored specs include a 5.5-inch display, quad-core Exynos chip, Android 4.0 OS.
