Samsung releases first OTA update for the Galaxy Beam

Samsung has released the first of OTA update for its Galaxy Beam. The update is available apparently only in Nordic countries and promises to improve stability of the device.

The update is around 10 – 20MB.
We advice you to use WIFI for this update.
After the update the baseband number will be I8530XXLF2.

Samsung Galaxy Beam owners can manually check for the update in Software Update found in Settings.
In about 30 minutes this firmware can be found on www.samfirmware.com .
