Samsung Galaxy S4 Active appears in Bluetooth certification & UAProf

The Galaxy S4 Active has been in the rumour mill for quite some time now and today the device has been spotted at Bluetooth SIG and in a User Agent Profile. The Galaxy S4 Active will simply be a dust and water-resistant variant of the Korean giant’s flagship device, the Galaxy S4. Previously, the device was just a rumour but these new clues are confirming the existence of the Galaxy S4 Active.

The Bluetooth certification doesn’t reveal any details about the upcoming handset, except the device will have Bluetooth 4.0 on-board. The User Agent Profile, spotted on Samsung’s own website, confirms that the Galaxy S4 Active will feature a Full HD (1920×1080) Display, just like the standard Galaxy S4.

The Galaxy S4 Active will probably have the same specifications as the standard Galaxy S4. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or Exynos 5 Octa SoC, depending on the market, 2GB of RAM, Full HD 5″ SuperAMOLED Display panel, 13 megapixel main shooter and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera. The device will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 out of the box.

The Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295) should be available in stores starting from week 26.

  1. If it’s true that the active s4 has the same specifications as the original s4, i am going to buy this awesome phone!

    • +1, (with 32 or 64GB internal memory)

    • This time with Octa-core + 32gb internal storage + fm radio. :)

  2. Please octa 4G !!!

  3. And……. what week is it now?

  4. Since it’s i9295, it won’t be as powerful as normal S4.
It should have number i95xx to use similar internals as I9500 or I9505.

    That’s my thought.
