Breaking: Samsung releases stable Android 10 update for the Galaxy Note 10

It has taken a few weeks but the day that many Galaxy Note 10 owners have been waiting for is finally here. Samsung has released the stable Android 10 update for the Galaxy Note 10 today. The update is currently being rolled out in Germany to those who participated in the beta. It’s out for both the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+.

The Android 10 One UI 2.0 beta program was opened up for the Galaxy Note 10 several weeks ago. The company has released five beta firmware for the device since then. This entire practice was done to ensure that the stable version would see a bug-free launch.

Galaxy Note 10/10+ finally pick up the Android 10 update

The initial expectation was that only the Galaxy S10 would receive the stable Android 10 update around Christmas this year. The Galaxy Note 10 would have likely got the update early next year.

However, Samsung has already been rolling out Android for the Galaxy S10 series over the past couple of weeks. The company has thus managed to bring Android 10 goodness to the Galaxy Note 10 series as well before Christmas.

The update is currently only available for those who were part of the One UI 2.0 beta program for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. It’s only going to be a matter of days now before the stable Android 10 update for the Galaxy Note 10 is released for all users across the globe.

  • About damn time. Sick of hearing the s10 rants about android 10.
    THIS levels the playing field.

    • Again, sick and tired those complaining while the rest of us non beta still waits. shame on you for downvoting.

  • If a phone is bought in one country, and then someone is on vacation in another country. Will he get the firmware update as per the country the phone is bought from or as per the country he is currently residing in?

    • For unlocked phone you will get updates but carrier locked phones may not get updates while roaming with another network.

    • The former. I'm in Vietnam currently and was able to download latest Note 10 beta on my Indian Note 10.

  • Not only germany as the last beta is in the usa and will get it real soon too. we are still on the map.

  • The S10e from my wife after updated to android 10 the weather widget stops to change the location (3 locations are included) when we move the finger up/down the widget. Now she needs to go inside the widget and the configuration!
I have the Note10+ and I also have 3 locations configurated, which is very useful to check quickly the weather and the time in that location (we live in Brazil, one of my daughters lives in USA and another in Germany)...

  • We got the final Android 10 update now for note 10 on 20th of December in qatar and other Arabian GCC countries, but i am coming through minors bugs from time to time
1- Bixby routine not switching to saved profiles smoothly.
2- force apps to dark mode in developer options will go off once phone restarted.
Rest will be coming as i discover then
