Samsung was the second-biggest tablet brand in the world last year, thanks to a sharp rise in demand since the COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning trends. The company is expected to launch at least two more tablets—Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7+ Litenext month. Ahead of the launch, their images were leaked, and now, an unexpected Galaxy S7+ Lite feature has been revealed.

The Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite will be available in three variants: Wi-Fi only (SM-T730), LTE (SM-T735), and 5G (SM-T736B/SM-T736N). Two of these variants passed through China's 3C certification process, revealing their charging speeds and the bundled charger. Going by that information, the Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite will come bundled with a 15W charger (EP-TA200). However, it will be compatible with as high as 44.5W charging (11A, 4.05A) via a faster charger.

It was being expected that the tablet might top out at 15W or 25W charging speeds, but 44.5W is a welcome surprise. It means that the Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite will be as fast as the Galaxy Tab S7+ (45W). Going by leaked images and specifications, the upcoming tablet is expected to feature a 12.4-inch display with QHD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 750G processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It could even have a microSD card slot.

The Galaxy Tab S7+ will run Android 11 out of the box. It comes with an S Pen, stereo speakers, USB Type-C port, and a metal body. The tablet will be available in four colors: black, green (or light green), pink, and silver.

The name of Samsung’s next tablet could be a mouthful

The name of Samsung’s next tablet could be a mouthful

Samsung is guilty of launching products with weirdly long names every now and then. Remember the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch from 2011? Or even the Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW from last year? It looks like the company wants to continue that tradition with the launch of its upcoming mid-range tablet. The company will […]

That’s a positive: Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite might launch without a smaller peer

The Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite is expected to debut in several variants later this year, but a non-plus model might not be happening, after all. That's according to some newly leaked pre-commercial product info from South Korea. It seems the data has been scooped up by an eagle-eyed industry watcher from South Korea. Either way, […]
