    Galaxy S21 FE starts getting One UI 4.1 update in Asia, Europe

    A few days after rolling out the One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy S21 FE's carrier-locked model in the US, Samsung released the new update in Asian and European markets. The latest update also brings the March 2022 security patch.

    In Europe, the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S21 FE is getting the new update with firmware version G990BXXU1CVC3. In Thailand, the Exynos 2100 version of the Galaxy S21 FE has started getting the update with firmware version G990EXXU1CVC5. The March 2022 security patch included in the new software fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities.

    If you are a Galaxy S21 FE user in any of the aforementioned regions, you can check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually. More countries and regions will get the One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy S21 FE in the coming weeks.

    Galaxy S21 FE One UI 4.1 features

    Samsung had launched the Galaxy S21 FE with Android 12-based One UI 4.0 out of the box. The smartphone is now getting dozens of new features with the One UI 4.1 update. The new software brings Smart Widgets, improved portrait photos, the ability to capture portrait videos with the telephoto lens, and an improved Color Palette feature.

    The One UI 4.1 update also brings the ability to save videos captured using front and rear cameras in separate files and then play them back together in the stock video player. The built-in Gallery app features Object Eraser, Shadow Eraser, and Reflection Eraser. The update also adds the ability to scan real-world objects and turn them into 3D stickers.

    Google Duo Live Sharing has been released to the Galaxy S21 FE with the One UI 4.1 update. It lets you share your screen with others on a Google Duo video call. Samsung Health shows better health and fitness data and offers tips to reach your goals. SmartThings Find can remind you to take your things if you left them behind. You can share SmartThings Find items with others so that they can help you find them.

    Quick Share gets the ability to share Wi-Fi network credentials with others. The Samsung Keyboard app gets better language suggestions through Grammarly integration. You can also customize RAM Plus (Virtual RAM) as per your needs. Bixby Routines receives the option to change the watch face on the Galaxy Watch 4.
