Angry S3 running slow after JB update

Is anyone else experiencing extreme slowdown since upgrading to Jelly Bean. I loved my phone on ICS, but its running so slow now and the ram usage is ridiculous.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Do a wipe/factory reset. Most probably you have installed on top off ICS without a factory reset/ wipe/cache wipe. Just do a wipe you will be fine. You will never look back at ICS......

If you didn't factory reset and clear Cache from Recovery Mode then you will experience conflicts.
These will slow down your phone, reduce battery life and force close your phone.
You should back up your phone and Factory reset to eliminate the problem.

I am from India and I bought a factory unlocked Galaxy S3 from here. A week back, i updated the phone OS to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 (Official Update) . Since then, my phone has slowed down in every field. The battery drains much faster. It takes a couple of seconds for me to go to my home screen or to open contacts. Most of the games suffer from a glitch after every one-two minutes. Any solutions. I have tried wipe cache and factory resset.

    Try Wanam's android 4.1.2.
Much better - faster and smoother and with all updates.
Battery life for Jelly Bean is heavier than for ICS, but worth it (in my view)

    Of course.
    Backup your phone with Kies.
Now go into Recovery Mode:Press and hold
Volume up + Home Button + Power Button until in blue writing of Recovery Mode.
Use Volume to choose Clear Cache, and Power to action.
Now do same for Clear Data/Factory Reset.
