How to repair dead I9003

Dude Just calm down.

One thing need to know , IS ur phone showing charging battery logo while charging in power off mode
if YES THEN NO NEED TO WORRY and as u mention ur phone is Showing downloading mode , it means ur Phone is
SOFT BRICKED.

Just follow the steps:

1. Download XXKPE ROM From samfirmare or sammobile which pre-contains odin3.
2 Run Odin3 v1.83
3. Set your phone to download mode : Press Volume down + OK first, then hold Power button.
4. Connect your phone, you should see Odin shows your phone is Added with COM number.
5. Click PIT button and select this file: latona_20110114.pit
6. You should see Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checked.
7. Click PDA button and select this file: CODE_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar
8. Click PHONE button and select this file: MODEM_I9003XXKPE_REV_00_CL1041909.tar
9. Click BOOTLOADER button and select this file: APBOOT_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar
10. Click CSC button and select this file: GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar
11. Click Start button to flash these files to phone.
12. Do not touch anything till you see PASS on the program window.

if above doesnt work i suggest u to flash a FROYO ROM.

Sounds like a hard bricked i9003 probably by a bootloader flash that went wrong...not much you cán do really...Only thing you can do is to try to find someone with a JTAG and let him try to revive the i9003.

Can any one tell me how to download all four files for flashing of samsung android phones???

Hello Abdullah Shafique,

To download all four files, you first need to download the firmware I9003XXKPE which contains PDA, PHONE, MODEM, BOOTLOADER (and why not put a PIT).

Then, just follow those steps :

1. Go to recovery mode.
2. Make a factory reset + wipe cache + dalvik cache + format /system.
3. Remove the battery then replace it.
4. Go into dowload mode.
5. Plug in your phone to your computer.
6. Open Odin as administrator and put all the 4 (+1) files.
7. check whether there is a COM:01 (for instance), if so then you can click START, otherwise, download the drivers and the ADB.
8. Let the phone reboot, wait for ~ 5 min, then restart in download mode (do not begin the first time initializer...).
9. Make a wipe cache + dalvik cache + fix permissions.
10. Reboot and enjoy your freshly clean flashed ROM.

I'm here to all questions/suggestions from all and I hope it will help some that got some issues with the flashing process.

HI, Where can I find the correct XXKPE ZIP? Here at sammobile the file is corrupted:

I found another Version of XXKPE at XDA, but it only contains 3 files:

GT-I9003-CSC-SERKB3.tar.md5
I9003XXKB3-REV08-PDA-low-CL925667.tar.md5
MODEM_I9003XXKB3_REV_00_CL928844.tar.md5

The filenames differ completely from the files mentioned here. Plus, I the bootfile is missing..

Where could I find some other files or notify the broken download here?

The boot file is in the PDA so you have all the files you need for an Odin install.

however, the KPE file is still invalid in the firmware database. whom can I flag this to in order to fix it?

By the way, I'm still stuck with froyo, and now all other Links and Mirrors are broken.
