Indeed, with the ICS compatible Boot files and fota file, I had worse memory management too, easily dropped down to 60 MB.
Now still in the low 70's MB App Free memory

The differences above however are indeed relatively minor in what is overall an excellent CFW and I shall be sticking with this going forward.
Thought Greg.stephen's comment hits the spot exactly.
    Thanks
Yes, differences are not very large, but memory management seems better, more stable.
The amount of Free App memory appears to be stable in the low 70's MB. Before it could easily drop down to 60 MB.

I lost the ICS compatibility, but all other features of -king-'s ULR ZCLC2 are still present.
    Excellent CFW indeed!

I'll make ICS compatibility optional in the next version. I honestly didn't think that it would have any effect on memory management.

I combined two screenshots ;-) using the tool from Irfan . . .

    I didn't think this either.
Today, after 1 more day, BadaSi App Free memory is still in the low 70's: 73 MB!
It really seems to be more stable.

The phone was not used for games, mainly text messaging, some calls, agenda, photo viewing and so.

    Update:
today (Saturdy 11 August), App Free memory got lower, 70 and 69 MB. It starts to decrease again.
Let's see where it ends. But in my experience still better than other FW's/CFW's I tried.
Those others reached 60 MB App Free after 1 or 2 days.

Monday 13 August: App free is now at 67 MB. So still decreasing, but not as rapidly as before.

Too bad did you try to revert to the original ZCLC2 Boot files and Fota file?
I did, after this the availabe App Free memory initially decreases, from 95 MB to some 75 MB after a while (using the phone).
But then it seems to īstabilize` around 72~74 MB App Free.

Just checked my App Free again: still 73 MB.
Some 30min ago I tried playing TurboFly HD, this game closed twice after initializing, but still in memory.
Could restart the game using the center home button. The 3rd time it played fine.
After playing, the App Free memory still was at 73 MB .

I know when I reboot the phone, having some 95 MB App Free, the TurboHD game plays right the 1st time.
So, itīs a big pity that we loose some 20MB in RAM anyway, but Iīm happy it stabilizes around 72 MB, better than going down to 60 MB or even lower. So, still happy. But of course, RAM management should be improved, or like in Android phones, one should have the option to clear RAM.
