Hands-free microphone quality on S21, S20 and Note 10 series

    Hello everybody,

I bought an S21 Ultra and immediately everyone claims to feel terrible when I use the speakerphone at a distance of half a meter, becoming completely impossible to make myself understood at a 1m - 1.5m away.
I then replaced the device with another S21 Ultra, but I encountered the exact same problem as soon as I turned on the new one, even without restoring accounts or applications. I then went to a Samsung service center, but no hardware defects emerged.
I then did a web search and in the Samsung Italian community I found other users complaining about the same problem, even on the S20 and Note 10 series for about a year and the problem has never been solved.

The problem seems to be software, as if the noise reduction algorithm is going to cancel my voice. Here you can listen to an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LceYO765NWY
first 10 seconds at 40cm away
from 15 to 20 seconds at 1m away
from 27 to 33 seconds even further away

Is it possible that Samsung has had a similar bug for so long on its major phones and has never fixed the problem?

If you are dealing with low end or mid-range Android phones such as the Samsung J-7 Emerge or the LG X Power then you can expect around 2 years maximum vidmate lifespan if the phone is well taken care of.
