Question Japanese Galaxy S7 Edge (SCV33 AU version) ROM change possible?

Hello! I have a Japanese version of the Galaxy Edge -The AU KDDI SCV33 version. I want to install the global ROM from the SM-G9350. The models are almost identical-snap dragon etc. Would this be possible with/without rooting? I don't want to unlock the SIM, I just want the extra languages , ability to turn off shutter sound and delete bloatware.

    Thanks in advance!

I cannot find your model, but the problem that you will have will be the non compatibility in the modems. The modem is hardware set and so the frequencies the SCV33 and the SM-G9350 have to match if an Odin install is to succeed.
I suspect that the frequencies are not 100% compatible as the G9350 is not 100% compatible with Japanese networks:

Thank you kindly! It seems the Japanese carrier versions also has a tv tuner onboard - probably not possible rooted or otherwise. I guess I will have to use it as is.
