    UK EE to BTU

Hi I have an S10 on EE UK.
I am hoping to flash to BTU so that I can use wifi calling as I am on O2.

I have read on other forums flashing the S10 with BTU firmware changes to TEL australia and that people have been stuck on their branded firmware.

Would be great to here peoples opinions.

    thank you

    Hi there

Could you go to Software Info on your device, screenshot it from top to bottom and post it here?

    1. Download SmartSwitch for PC (NOT to be used, just for the drivers): [ Login above or register to see download links. ]
    2. Download Odin 3.14.x: [ Login above or register to see download links. ]
    3. Download latest firmware for Multi-CSC OXM (XEU): [ Login above or register to see download links. ]

Be aware: it's possible that changing CSC to XEU won't work because Samsung/E3 put a "lock" on it... Then you'll end up to the default CSC of Multi-CSC OXM which is XEF for the S10 (France).
Be sure, your SIM-card is IN your device when flashing; when you get a pop-up "SIM card changed" (probably in French): accept!
Your device will RESET after flashing; CSC_OXM is to be used (NOT HOME_CSC ! ! !)

How to flash firmware to your phone:

    1. Extract (un-rar) the firmware file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin) ***
    2. Download [ Login above or register to see download links. ]
    3. Extract Odin ZIP file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin)
    4. Open Odin v3.14.1
    5. Power OFF your S10
    6. Reboot Phone in Download Mode: Hold down Vol-UP & Power; scroll in Recovery to "Boot to Bootloader". Connect your S10 to your PC
    7. Wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
    8. Add the firmware files to their designated slots (AP in AP, BL in BL, CP in CP, CSC_OXM in CSC). USERDATA stays EMPTY!
    9. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
    10. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Use SamMobile only if you are 100% sure about the risks involved in flashing your device. SamMobile is not responsible for any damage caused by using the files on this website.

Ah great thanks for the reply.
    I have two questions

    1) if this doesn't work , can i reflash back to UKEE?
    2) Would I be able to flash from UKEE to UK 02 instead of XEU?

    many thanks

    1. You can flash back to EE firmware, but because that's a Multi-CSC too, I'm not sure it'll go to EVR
    2. Why do you want to flash O2 instead of XEU? O2 is is Multi-CSC too (OTF) so it's possible the CSC switches to a NON UK O2 CSC

I have checked in the o2 forum and even with the EE firmware I should still get wifi calling on 02.
I guess the risk is that I will be stuck on a non uk firmware here?
    is it worth the risk?

    thanks
