Stock ITV/ITV/BRI Note 8 doesn't get any OTA

Basedband: N950FXXU1AQHB
Build number: NMF26X.N950FXXU1AQI8
Service provider: SAOMC_SM-N950F_OXM_ITV_0025
ce071717249b6410017e
CSC: ITV/ITV/BRI

Firmware:
Current version: N950FXXU1AQI8 / N950FOXM1AQHF / N950FXXU1AQHB (this last one is my Baseband version).

"The latest update have already been installed"

I never messed with the firmware on this device (and never will) and i want to get regular OTA updates: do any of you know what is going on?
Why i don't get regular OTAs?

Is Samsung blocking it (because the device originally came from Taiwan while i live in Italy)? Is my network carrier blocking it?
What else?
Do you have any idea / solution?

Thanks.

Don't you get via SmartSwitch OTA's either?

You should get updates: ITV/ITV/BRI Active & SIM CSC are correct

I don't see any option to force an OTA, but according to this message, i'm already to the latest
version (sic!).
Any idea?

Oh, and btw, i just noticed there's NO QI8 for ITV, only for BRI, so i'm even more confused now...

I wonder if the OTA check is being confused not finding any QI8 in the ITV pocket, and if flashing an ITV firmware is gonna change something... but i fear tripping knox or bricking my device.

THAT's the reason your phone and/or SmartSwitch can't find an OTA for your device...

If you want to have OTA-updates in the future, you'll have to install once FW manually with Odin:

Install this firmware: [ Login above or register to see download links. ]

How to flash firmware to your phone:

1. Extract (un-rar) the firmware file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin) ***
2. Download [ Login above or register to see download links. ]
3. Extract Odin ZIP file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin)
4. Open Odin v3.13.1
5. Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Bixby + Power + Volume Down buttons)
6. Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
7. Add the firmware files to their designated slots
8. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
9. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Below a video with the "How to flash"; thanks ISF for making this tutorial:

Use AP BL CP & HOME_CSC_OXM and your data will stay intact

Thanks henklbr, i'll give it a shot tonight.

Silly questions:

1) am i going to trip knox by installing an ITV fw over a BRI device?
2) anything else i might be breaking? (Samsung Pay, etc)

1. nope: it's OFFICIAL firmware
2. If you have it now, you'll have it also after the update
