After installing the DBT firmware put phone into Recovery Mode.
BTU will be applied as the CSC and you will get future OTA updates on BTU (but not for a while as you will already have android 7)
as far as I am aware of doing is open Odin, go into download mode on tablet connect to PC then open the correct files i.e AP etc
do I need to tap on developer mode at all or just go into download mode and connect to PC.... sorry ha I did say I am new to this . Just trying to learn a few things

    It's ok.
The first Odin flash is always heart in the mouth stuff.
Then you want to do it again.

I would advise looking at an Odin install YouTube - there are many on the internet.
Once you understand the process, then do it yourself.

    To answer your questions.
Developer mode does not have to be activated.

The instructions to install are on the Sammobile firmware Download page.

Ok, first of all the CP is for modem firmware.
    Your Tab is wifi only.

Secondly, I did not realise that the firmware was in separate files (most of Sammobile firmware is combined into 1 file)

    1. Use the following files to put into the corresponding box in Odin
    BL
    AP
    CSC_OXA

Do not use HOME_CSC as this is for installing on a DBT Tab.

    2. Go to OPTIONS and select F.Reset Time and Auto Reboot only (should already be selected by default)

    3. Connect your TAB and wait for the ID:COM box to turn blue

    4. Press START

    Cache partition?
The PIT file to set the System partition is in the CSC.
It is activated by selecting Re-partition in Odin - Options.

    Is this on the LineageOS?
If so, you need to ask on the LineageOS forum.
This is not an error that I am familiar with.
