    Taiwan Marshmallow PDA/CSC to India Nougat PDA/CSC

    Current: Taiwan version
    PDA N9208ZTU3BQB1
    CSC N9208ZZT3BQB1

    Target: India version
    PDA N9208XXU3CQCA
    CSC N9208ODI3CQC7

    Phone is not locked to any subscriber and was never rooted.

    Assuming I can go from Taiwan to India, version, I am getting following when doing ODIN:

    Please help and suggest.

    The fail is suggesting that the India firmware is a downgrade to the firmware on the phone.

    But, if the Taiwan and India firmwares ares as listed that is not a downgrade.
    Can you dial *#1234# to check the firmware on your phone.

    having the same issue. My phone also came from Taiwan trying to flash to Philippines.

    I did *#1234# and found following:

    CP : N9208ZTU4BQB1

    CSC : N9208ZZT3BQB1

    Please suggest if I can flash India firmware on Taiwanese Note 5

    Next steps using ODIN were actually simple.

    Using the India Nougat MD5 file in AP and PIT file in PIT tab and keeping RE-PARTITION option NOT checked, I got the following:

    Should I have kept RE-PARTITION option checked in above while flashing using PIT and India MD5?
