Invalid Magic String

I changed the stock rom to a custom Slim Kat Rom. My android version upgraded to 4.4.4. Now I want to go back to stock 4.4.2 and Odin won't let me (always shows failed message) and on the tablet it shows "invalid magic string"

Any idea how to downgrade to stock ?

Thanks for your input.
Will upgrade to Windows 10 because kies on Windows 7 won't recognize my tablet . Stays on connecting...

You could also try Kies update (SmartSwitch)

If problems with connecting let Kies or SmartSwitch reinstall the Samsung USB drivers.

My device SM-T310 Tab 8" is not compatible with smart switch or Kies 3. It's only supported by Kies and it never gets recognized.

It is one of the problems of installing a firmware version that is higher than any stock version.
Nether Kies or a downgrade look possible.

Ok. seems like my ignorance made me mess up and lose my tablet
