Where does the phone firmware posted on Sammobile come from?

I wonder if this is public knowledge: Where does the phone firmware posted on Sammobile come from?
Is it official software somehow extracted from member's phones, does Sammobile get it directly from Samsung or is there any FOTA server scraping being done? Curious if the software is untampered / clean from the supplier.

Sammobile firmware comes direct from Samsung servers.

Find any firmware, ever released by Samsung.
Always the first with new, official Samsung Firmware.

Interesting, does Sammobile have a deal with Samsung to get the firmware or is some secret formula used to fetch it? (In the news section it is clear that it is the site users who report to Sammobile about available firmware):

We’ve received tips from our readers which suggest that the Galaxy S6 edge Nougat update is now being rolled out, one reader told us that the update has been rolled out by Vodafone in the United Kingdom.

Sammobile have an authorised link to the Samsung servers.
If you go here and scroll to the bottom you will see the 'Live Feed' to the Samsung servers:

Firmware is usually released OTA initially and therefore not on Samsung servers.
Members who have received an OTA will often show their delight by informing Sammobile either through the forum or News features.

Networks also have control over their own firmware, and after testing can release the firmware before the 'open' non network version.
Why a network firmware can be released before an 'open' firmware is subject to speculation along the lines of a special deal, but no evidence for this can be found.

I'm sorry for noob question, but what is meant by "networks"? I only can think about mobile service provider, but this version makes no sense..
