As in the instructions, use CSC (not HOME_CSC)

    Your choice.
Sammobile firmware is direct from Samsung.
    AT&T G935U here:

    Install as in this guide:

i have the same problem for my s7 edge. Now my question is, can i use G935F for PDA/CSC and G935V for bootloader and baseband (modem) files as it's already been done for android 6.0.1 when moving to android 7.0 Nougat using Odin?

Product name in Odin shows G935V

Are there any downsides to doing that?

    dnortey,
You have bought a modified G935V USA Verizon network phone that has had a G935F overlay to make it more valuable and to add languages that are not in the original Verizon firmware.
If you were sold the phone as a G935F then you have been misled and should consider getting a refund if possible.

I tell everyone who ends up with one of these modified phones to consider the options carefully.
If the phone is working ok then do nothing.
Do not update, just use the phone as it is.

If your phone is not working well then you can return it to the original stock version by installing a G935V (or better still a G935U unlocked) firmware.
But you will lose the additional languages that you now have.
