The latest version SM-R323 works perfectly fine with the Note 4. I've recent got one for my N910C and it works perfectly fine!

I purchased smr322 and modified it to fit my note 4. Trimmed corners with a flush cutter very carefully to fit. I have pics if nessasary. Point being that i got the gear vr from Amazon for $32. So that i could do it very cheaply. Also have plans for a P.C. fan on cover to aid in cooling as it will overheat around 30 minute mark. I thought my only option was the $250 international version made for the note 4.
